There can only be 3 reasons Uncle Frank keeps his identity a secret (most likely to least likely):-

1. He's ugly as sin
2. He's a Columbian drug lord
3. He's a British MI6 spy based in the US impersonating an independently wealthy Oakley collector with a ruthless but terrible sense of humour.
