But, America is the center of the universe...all others must conform!

But for the center of the universe you have to at least change the unit of measurement based on body parts also called British Imperial.
Yes its based on Bodyparts.
Even mechanics who have been using it for years have not understood this system.
Engineers use inches to a point and then switch to decimal.
Why not always decimals.
The rest of the civilized high-tech world also uses the metric system.

When I call into customer service, I get "Please enter your zip code followed by the pound sign", not "hash" or "hashtag" sign... @trippledigitss will back me on this. (I hope)
