I tried to bring some humor into the shill bidding thread, and litos was tagged. Just trying to joke on a really f’d up situation. Had nothing to do with litos or our previous conversation in this thread. Hell, I used a steak recipe that I’m pretty sure he posted a while ago and it was unreal good

You have to be ****ting me if you think inflation isnt going up.

Inflation been going up for decades, what hasn't been going up has been wages for the most part. The wage now days either pays about the same if not less than the wage of the past when inflation is considered, and the cost of living increases.

So it's increasing regardless if wages stay low.

this is absolutely wrong. Inflation hasnt been going up for decades. it dips and spikes all the time. compare meat, gas, homes, leases from today to say 2008, 2012, 2017, this time last year. anytime you want. My parents bought their dream home in 1981 for $179k on 3 acres. The best best rate they could get was 17%.

the problem with high wages for entry level work, is the people that patronize these starter job establishments are largely the ones working in them. Youre getting $15/hr and now the dinner youre feeding your family is $3 higher than it was post your raise. NOT sustainable
