While we are at it we should find a way to end their "friend" from showing up every month and making them uncomfortable.

I've learned my lesson there. A lot of birth control these days will all but eliminate that from happening, or at least make it happen at greater intervals. What they don't tell you is when you stop using it the body will often try to catch back up, meaning that can go on for over a year with little to no breaks.... I'd like to kill whoever came up with that stuff. Thankfully it's better now

@kronin323, how popular is asparagus in the US? It's really big here in season and in Germany too (though they grow it underground or in the dark so it stays white). Not seen anyone else go as mad for it.

I can't speak for the entire country but it seems to be quite popular. I cook it fairly often, and I see it served at others' tables. It's common to have a center display at the grocery full of asparagus bundles, and there's always people grabbing them.

It's also a common side in medium to fine dining restaurants. I've even seen sushi rolls with asparagus in them...

Smaller display than usual, but still seeing its share of activity...
