I think I've said this before but I'm truly amazed that this town doesn't have an Applebees or something besides Chili's. The fat ****s in this town just want buffet places and it makes me crazy. You should see the lines around KFC near dinner time.... nasty, nasty food.

Ewwww buffets. I grew up on them and now I can't stand the sight of them.

I've never been a small town guy and I think that's part of the problem. Born and raised in L.A. and I've bounced around several states and major cities, and now I'm in freakin Arkansas. Knowing what I know now I'd drive around this POS state before driving through it.

I hear you on that. Being from Atlanta and going to school and staying in Tallahassee, I thought it was a death sentence. But I don't think I can do anything smaller than this.

FWIW sour ale and lemon garlic turkey jerky are amazing together. I'm less angry about the Chili's thing now.

I moved here at my wife's request to be closer to her mom. I've made some friends here but I usually find myself being rather cynical towards everyone else because they all pretend to follow what you tell them and really have no clue what you are talking about.

It's tough right now because my son is getting ready to start school and I don't want to be that guy that hauls his family all over the place just for a change of scenery but I feel like I've already done about all that can be done in this area. The money is good but I just waste it on stupid **** to try and forget where I live. Then I come home to my awesome 6Mb internet and resist the urge to buy a gun and run through the middle of town with it.
