What's On Your Plate???

Actually, The Wife doesn't like ketchup, tomatoes, or really any sort of red colored food. That spaghetti I post with the salmon-colored vodka sauce? When she's done with her plate, what remains is a pile of the cooked diced tomato that was in it.

But it has nothing to do with how it tastes. Care to guess why?

Rice vinegar? :idk:

I can deal with reddened pasta sauce or chili, but I sometimes pick out big chunks of tomato. Basically, it has to be pureed or diced up and cooked into the food.

I like tomatoes but can't bear ketchup. Too sweetened, didn't like it as a child even. Same with baked beans.
