I did ask the guy at the time. He said it was Jordanian beer. I'm not a seasoned beer drinker myself and I also didn't check the label carefully. I think it's more likely that the Jordanian misunderstood what I was asking and you're probably right that it's an imported beer. It didn't taste too bad, I have to say.
