Xeus Modification - Has anyone trimmed them?

Looking to see if anyone would or has trimmed off that awful lip on the top of the Zeus? I want to buy a pair and will wear them but that part has to go and I wont buy one if someone in the chop dept on here hasnt done it or cant. I could do it with my own tools but I am sure I would mess up a perfectly good pair of sunnies in the process. Rather leave that to the pro's if I pull the trigger?

I was thinking it was a guy that had LDS in his handle....
I think he was in Utah... but maybe I was assuming that based on his handle.
