Yielding on a One Lane Bridge- Thoughts?

What does the yield mean when you get to a 1 lane bridge?

Alright, let’s put this to the test. In Northern VA there are a few roads that still have old bridges that don’t support the infrastructure of the area around them. The problem with them is that people will sit and treat yields as stop signs and stop to the car on the other side instead of yielding as if they are going into a traffic circle. This leads to a 1 car, 1 car set up and backs up traffic.

What would you do if you came to a bridge and there was a yield on both sides? What is the etiquette in who goes?

Bigger car always goes first unless one of them is a cowboys fan than they go over the side of the bridge
