1995 Metal Vaults

New guy here, hope everyone is well!

I recently bought a few 1995 Oakley metal vaults from a guy on eBay. It seems as though he tried to polish the top of the large vault but left the rest as it came from the factory. My question is, should I attempt to finish the polishing to make it uniform, or leave it as is?
