Wife bought me a pair of Juliets that the previous owner had “modified”. Yikes.

But we were able to bring them back to life!
Thankfully the stems did not break.

So is there any story behind this other than the obvious fact the previous owner decided the arms need to be bent so that they'd hook around his ears? And then what steps did you take to get that back into alignment?

I have no idea what he was thinking. Maybe he wanted them hooked around his ears? I didn’t meet the guy, wife did. Let it soak in a little bit of hot water and slowly bent them back into shape.

It looks like he put the arms in hot water and let them soak to make it pliable enough to bend back without breaking
