What I heard was that it could be like the SW Gold Series and SGH had a 90 day exclusive period before O Stores started selling them.

They are a FIRST AT release. So SGH has them first for only 10 days. Then you can expect to slowly see them elsewhere.
I believe the Style Switch and the Holbrook are SGH Exclusives.

No but I have heard that there might be an SGH contest for 9 pairs of "Goldbrook" like Garage Rocks

Do not think it is a consumer contest, but for employees.
