I have this 3.0 cube and I’m not a huge fan of it. I like the storage that the base provides and the cube is the only thing that fits on it. So I have to make use of it.
At first I used it as quarantine. I’d keep new pairs in it until I could get around to cleaning them and removing the DNA. Then I started using it for pairs that were for sale or trade.
Last week I got two Pro M Frames, my first. The lenses on these things are huge and don’t fit on regular stands all that well. Neither oakley ones nor the ones I make. So I came up a modified single tier design and ditched the shelf in the cube.
Now it holds the only two of those that I have and they fit perfectly.
Huge thanks to @neill for the hookup of the proper lens and nose piece for the Metallic Sand frame. It came with a sweet old Fire Heater lens but the Gold looks much better and is the correct color for the frame and rubbers.
