30th Anniversary Oakley Releases

It is true that Oakley is planning these releases, and a few more real carbon fiber models.

The new Carbon Fiber glass does exist... The frame is 100% carbon fiber, the real stuff, and the temple is a block of titanium. Half frame, which makes it incredibly incredibly light. The release for it wasn't slated when I tried them on. They will be coming though.

Do you know the price range for them? C6 (over a grand), Pitboss (600), X metal(3-400), or JFL (250) price tiers?

the name is carbon blade. the ferrari one will be about the same price as as pitboss 2. the regular ones are cheaper

I'm not sure how I feel about that...

The pic on Instagram is a Pro M Frame with the original Hybrid lens.
Right, but they did similar picture posts before the 30th Anniv. pictures started appearing for the blades and eyeshades. So it might be a hint the M2 or whatever they will call it is more than just a rumor.

They're actually called the Carbon Pro from what I was told. The Ferrari one will be 600 and the standard ones will be 500. They are all polarized as well. This is all going off what I was told a while ago so keep that in mind as things may change...

If they can stay in this line of pricing as opposed to the $1500 for the C-6 aluminum I think it should do pretty well. Especially if there is a lot of true carbon fiber within the frame build.

The entire frame, less the lens and temple connection, was carbon fiber, so my hope is that they start a series built off this premise... I do agree with you though on that. I think they'll do quite well, especially because of the weight and the fact that they fit like a glove, for me at least.
