Zoom Freak 1 All Bros/GE

When the Freak 1 was first launched, this is the colorway I set my sights on. This came near the tail end of the release runs and it was disappointing to find it had to be obtained through Garbo2K. As much as I liked it, it wasn't worth paying resale for, so I made a purple custom at Nike....Then eventually this and the KD13 GE popped on Nike at discount.

Fit and simple build kinda make it no surprise why it was worn a lot last season in the league. However, the eyelets suck and the Freak 2 kinda addresses that as well as cushion, but it became a heavier setup.

Kyrie 7 "Creator"

After a weekend of some break in, feels like it might really pan out as another forward step for the line. Tooling setup is a bit flatter than the 6, medial forefoot side also more flexible, which I assume is a different approach to this line's design philosophy. Cushion setup is unchanged, which I don't have a problem with. Literally all they can do to improve it is add heel Zoom which I don't see happening.

It is lighter, and simpler to get on overall. Upper has been a mixed bag. Miss the leather, but this may really be smarter. Skin-like, and presumably decent abrasion resistance as they didn't cover the toe this time. Top eyelets are reinforced, while I'm a bit disappointed the middle ones are not. Tongue works out a little better than the 6 imo. Less heat buildup and better against pinching. Opens up enough that I can use insoles with grip textures again. Forefoot room is more welcoming to broader spectrum of consumers.

Not idea if the traction pattern holds up, but what I like is it's generally more spaced out. Court dust/debris hopefully clears more easily.

Zoom Kobe V Protro "Alternate Bruce Lee"

This year virtually went perfect for me, Kobe's at the forefront. I was able to get a pair from the 3 major release periods at retail. No working side deals, bot accounts or paying premiums. Just SNKRS and in-store.

Form the start it's always been about getting the things I couldn't have 10 years ago. I'm sure there are a lot of Kobe fans in the same boat, pitted with the same bulls*** circumstances of having and upsurge of chumps trying to start resale businesses during COVID and trying to monetize off his death.

Finally i got both OG airmax III, Radiant Red and Laser Blue. I remember crying over these shoes when i was on 5th grade as nike doesnt have my size. The smallest size they have in the philippines is in mens size 6 and im size 5 LOL, back then in the 90’s there are no available GS or big kids size for this shoe. Now im glad i have them both
