Picked up my Gamma 11's

Not sure if those familiar with me could tell from my posts over the years, but black is always my preference for colorways. Part of it was the aesthetic, the other part being it handles wear better in my mind. I keep hearing mixed hindsight on how the 2013 pair was received, I always wanted it because of how dominantly-black it was, and the outsole wasn't going to dramatically discolor/yellow with oxidization.

And not to get too sentimental, 12 years was so long ago. I couldn't afford this even if there was a pair in front of me. Crazy now I'm got this with the concern over what space I have to store it.

Glad you hit for retail (although retail is creeping up on resell prices at this point). These flew. I'm the same, I love black colorways. I only have like one white pair in my collection. These are perfect since the sole will only get darker not yellow. I hate that my 72-10s have the sole yellowing. I wish they would have just made those soles white. The gammas are going to replace the 72-10s in my display boxes. I for sure try to avoid clear soles if I can now a days.

As expected, I couldn't score on the Gammas. So, I got a pair of OG 95s in the same colorway as the first pair of sneakers I bought with my first paycheck back then.

Cheap spare pair, or more like my beater copy of the Ishod. I'd like to preserve my original olive pair, although these also are nice in-hand.

Passed on gammas not a big fan of 11’s. I do want to get the rare air 11’s to go with my other rare Airs. Anyways got the bugs bunny 8’s and my friend @Oakley_gurl hit the GT Futures for me since they both dropped on same hour same day. Oh yea.

I'm always kinda bummed 6 and 8's don't fit me too well. I'm only holding the Infrared 6 and Playoff 8 so I got a beater color and go into my black/red AJ collection. White/Red 8's are so clean.

I do like the gammas colorway. Just all that Patton leather ain’t for me. Makes me think about my dad’s dress shoes back in the day. lol

Unfortunately it doesn't match the Ascend Jawbreaker, but I needed this color.
Mold shape is of the more proper variety, at least at the heel.

How hard are the uppers on gt futures? Is it like foamposites?
