Best Oakley Replacement Lenses of 2023 | Review & Comparison

I asked a similar question and was told most of the members 'in the know' on here think replacement lenses are crap. They seem to prefer cutting their own out of OEM lenses. There are people here that know how to do that and would know which ones you would have to purchase in order to cut replacement wiretap lenses. Unfortunately, I am not one of those people but I am sure one will pop up.

Cutting lenses for wire frames gets tricky to cut by hand. The bezel has to be cut exactly for it to fit correctly. @Chris A Hardaway has actual lens cutting machinery and will chop them for you. His services are top notch. He will even source the lenses for you if you don’t already have a donor set.

Those lenses are for wiretap 2.0s. There are two versions of wiretap and the OP hasn’t specified which he has. More than likely it’s a 1.0 as he did say “vintage”.

Yea they’re went with a complete redesign with spring hinges and a half orbital frame. 1.0>2.0

From the ebay picture , it is 1.0 wiretaps i have, they are not the same shape as the ebay ones.
