The watch runs fine and is otherwise in perfect condition. The pin looks to be in great shape, and the "clamps/teeth" seem to move well in each direction, but apparently not enough to maintain a good enough bite on the pin. I've done quite a bit of searching for details, exploded view, and the like in hopes of possibly troubleshooting it...to no avail. Hence,my post here. Is there some cleaning I could try? I'm at your mercy as to the best plan of attack from here.

Thanks for any and all feedback,

Ty

The issue is common overtime the inner springs of the clasp will get weaker. You might want to take it to a watchsmith and have them try to retighten or replace the inner spring.

On my browser the text is black but the background is more a light blue. It's the site's default "retro: blue moon" color scheme.

Now. You may see that as witty. But I see it as dry and blount
