Curious about this pair of X Squares

I've noticed that the warranty pairs with the "polarized" etching on the left lens runs out of whack with the orbitals.even the warranty lenses do that.not 100% clear on why the casting change was made to make the orbitals flatter at the bottom.

I think the flatter ones were the original castings.

I had talked to one of the guys that worked at the X metal factory, and he gave me a story on why they changed those, but I don't remember where I posted it.

Yeah, i’ve got an XS with two different orbitals. One warranty and one standard.

Dang. the lenses dont fit right on those! May you never need new lenses.

The lenses fit well but i bought them from @SEAN WAYNE and the lenses are Linegear Ice so I’m pretty sure they were cut differently to fit each side. I didn’t lnow the orbitals were different until i got them.

All OEM lenses and LG lenses fits well to all generations of XSquared even with last productions of the XS with flatter orbitals. LG has only one template for XSquared Frames. Hope this helps.

Yes.....they fit nice.no complaints.

You really have to look to see the small gap in the bottom of the orbitals. They are different but it's really insignificant.
