Ok well this explains a lot. Mine does not have a ballast for the bottom compartment. I assume this is why I keep blowing bulbs?

Take the ballast number to an electrical supply house and ask them-to source a suitable replacement

the fluro ballasts are pretty basic. black wire is hot, white is neutral and the green probably doesnt matter but it is ground.

you have no ballasts? yea thats a problem lol.
you can buy some cheap ass home depot shop lightsand harvest the bulbs and ballasts

I need two ballasts as well and I’m not sure what I can use as a replacement. I need one for an EBU40-1 and an EBU40-2

Just picked up a ballast locally for $11 that works great. I’m in the process of getting it all installed now that I tested it out and made sure it works.
