Does mirroring scratch easily?

Does mirror ing on Oakley scratch easily- I do mountain biking - and skiing but am looking for an all round that can take being dropped any thoughts?

in my experience you need to take great care when cleaning and always use a clean cloth.

sand is the worst, nasty stuff to have on lenses
