Going to make the best of it......when I get back from my weekly car wash/breakfast .... I'm gonna take the motorcycle out for a few hours and head for the mountains.

I do believe that Sunglass Rob (Sport RX) claims Ultra is slightly less Abbe than Pure:

Do I count as corroboration?

It's definitely more vivid than the Pure and the Brilliant.

I haven't had a glass maui Jim in the same lens colour to make any comment on Ultra vs Glass

The Ultra is about $40 (17%) more than the bog-standard Ho'okipa, but I may go trade my Blue-Hawaii Maui-Pure for Maui-Green Ultra tomorrow.

Genuinely very interested to hear your thoughts on the lense.....if you go ahead with it.

Yes they just dropped the new R and G models for the Ho'okipa. About to do a review for them. Like the fit and feel of this pair.

Yep....

Looks great....they also seem to be doing them with the HCL Bronze and the HT.

I think I would like to give the HT another chance in the Ultra material (might give it a bit of pop)

I'll email the seller I use to see if they can get them for me (as they don't seem to be up on their website yet)
