Would love to, the x metals are a hot commodity though! Would have to be a good dealWelcome to the forum. That Re:Subzero is really nice. Next maybe try a Juliet?
I suggested Juliet because I think they are the most plentiful and affordable X-Metal model... so a good place to start.Would love to, the x metals are a hot commodity though! Would have to be a good deal
Yeah I'd really love a pair tbh, what sort of price would a good condition pair command and be reasonable?I suggested Juliet because I think they are the most plentiful and affordable X-Metal model... so a good place to start
It depends on which specific Juliet and the condition of the frame and lenses. I would say a reasonable price for plain Juliet would be between $300-$350 in very good to excellent condition, but some will want more. You could also go the route of getting one that needs everything (lenses, rubber, parts, nose-bridge rebuild, and maybe even a resurfacing) for closer to $200... but refurbishing costs $$$!Yeah I'd really love a pair tbh, what sort of price would a good condition pair command and be reasonable?
I guess if the deal is good enough and the lenses aren't too bad then refurbishment would be a good way to get a clean pairIt depends on which specific Juliet and the condition of the frame and lenses. If you're not an officiando on the original texture or Generation, then 'knock yourself out'.I guess if the deal is good enough and the lenses aren't too bad then refurbishment would be a good way to get a clean pair
I've seen some interesting replating jobs, Copper etc. And I imagine to an officiando that's like a no goIf you're not an officiando on the original texture or Generation, then 'knock yourself out'.
