Help Needed - Broken Earpiece on Oakley Razor Blades

Yeah once cracked your screwed but you don’t need to file down the nub at all. If you warm up the end the news ones should go right on. I’ve seen people putting the brand new arms on and they snap becuase the plastic has become brittle

Can you use the guitar pick that comes in the kits? I never had any issues, even without the pick.

I wouldn’t recommend that, I’ve always had luck with soaking the end of the arm in same almost boiling water for like a minute or so and soften them up a little. That’s what I’ve always had best luck with.

I thought about using hot water. Even then I didn't want to risk cracking them. To each their own. The two I've done have come out perfect, arms still tight. I wish I would of started a few pairs earlier.

There are a lot of parts on eBay, just check the pics closely and make sure they aren’t cracked too! Getting harder to find good parts all the time!
