How Much is my Oakley Watch Worth / Value Thread, Ask about Prices here

Hey guys, I've recently been looking into buying a couple of watches to add to my growing collection, I'm waiting on delivery of a Ti gearbox and am already searching for #2, I'm particularly interested in a white face hollow point, but wanted to ask what your opinions were regarding prices of new and like new, I won't entertain anything that's been well worn.
Thanks in advance
Steve

General rule of thumb is 1/2 of MSRP, though patience can find better deals. Best prices are usually around the $750 range, but you have to be quick to snap those up, the rare times they appear.

Though, like with everything else, the market fluctuates now and then.

Thanks @kronin323 I've never seen for $750 but will be watching and waiting to pounce, I've searched the forum and they mostly seem to be selling for around the $1000 mark, hopefully I'll find a suitable one for the right price soon?

I did this poll once...

What's your favorite HP color?

...and the white colorway seemed to be the least sought-after, so I'd think you'd have a better chance snagging a good deal on one of those than the other colorways. But it may take a while. Really anything under $1K is a fair deal, but the cheaper, the better... ;)

are the spare links still present? if a new band is found, obviously the links will be needed....

Yes I have the links and I think three of them were cut to fit my wrist. Guess if and when I do decide to sell it, I'd have to settle close to the 950 price range.

yes

hey frank what do u think of the potential worth of the double tap in the next few years?
I can answer this quite simply. Only watch that will be worth anymore than what it sold retail for is the fmj. Now there are a few that hold a decent resell but the double tap in my opinion is not one of them.

One that seems to hold a decent resale value is the hollowpoint. Even the mm simply seems its not holding the value as I have seen through the years. Of course this is my own opinion being in the Oakley watch scene for awhile.
