What would a Crankcase 3 hand polished/black with a few small scuffs on the band, but a clean crystal run? (just the watch)

There was one up on eBay a few weeks ago that had a BIN for $8,000. It was just the watch, no chain or display case. Someone hit the BIN button. The seller had zero feedback. It's not showing up on the recently completed/sold items on eBay though. It surfaced up in a Baltimore Craig's List ad for $6,500 and the guy was apparently meeting the buyer to sell it for $4,500 in New York. @OakleyFrankFMJ, was that you???

I often think about it. Got it at HQ, and its been hermetically sealed in my humidity controlled safe ever since. I know its meant to be worn but my OCD wants it to be preserved in perfect condition. Now if I had 5 of them I would definitely wear one of them.
