1-The number printed on the left arm. Is it supposed to be centered? Or towards the bottom of the arm? Or can be either?

2- If you look from below and into the hole where the arm and frame are connected, should you see a small screw or just a pin?

looks legit. but if theres a screw in the hinge its a fake. authentic radars use a plastic pin for the hinges.

BriP,

This one does not have screws...

How about the number printed on the left arm, is it supposed to be centered? This one is on the bottom. Look at the third pic

yeah i think thats no issue, the numbers are the correct SKU for the livestrong radar. those printed stamps are abit wonky anyhow, not consistent.

where did you buy it? if it was from somewhere legit then shouldnt be worried at all

Bought on ebay. The guy says he works or worked for Oakley.

I purchased another pair of Radars, those have tiny metal screws in the hinges. The only difference I can see between them and these Livestrongs is that in them the part that sits on the nose ( not the rubber) is solid, but on the livestrongs it seems like its two pieces attached together, like there is a line. Look at the pic:

This is the livestrongs

yeah so your other pair is fake. radars dont have screws. and that line is a moulding line, left over from when the piece was cast. the whole nosepiece actually seperates from the upper frame if you know how. your livestrongs are authentic.

Thanks BriP,

One last question. Is there supposed to be a very small "R" after the "Oakley" etched on the lens? Both of these have that.
