Is it wrong or is it right.

I know depending on trying to resell something it's best to keep things OEM for the most part unless the pair is in dire need of a refresh or facelift. I searched around for a while for an easier pair to polish and have customized. As in anodized or plated. I originally thought a 24k xx would make a great and easy project. A beater one of course or one that's just a bit used up.. I almost had one purchased but it turns out that the generations matter for degree of difficulty in polish or refinish.. I can't explain more how much I love shinny things it's just the way I am. Especially with xmetals. Sooooo I ended up getting a decent deal on a plasma xx. Thinking it wasn't going to be too difficult to polish up. They arrived Friday and they are in better shape than I figured.. someone also mentioned to.me that plasma is a bit harder to come by. Am I crazy to want to still have this polished and plated or polished and anodized and is it just down right a crime to do it? Or should I just go for it.

I'll at least get them completely cleaned professionally if I do decide on keeping them OEM.. remember I have zero plans to sell this. I still regret selling the emerald ti02..

Alot of the plasma xx's experience discoloration in the finish. If yours doesn' have discoloration I would leave it as is....

The plasma XX is much harder to find and that one looks to be in good shape. I vote to leave it OEM

Harder to find, but not extremely scarce. Whatever you, as the owner, feel is right is right.

Though I always want an OEM example as well before I do a custom of any given model. But that’s me.

Sounds to me like you like the frame as is or you wouldn’t be asking. I would leave asis since you can always modify later, but you can’t go back to original once’s modified. I would wait for some beaters to come up to do your mod on. Beautiful frame, BTW.

I would keep the Plasma XX OEM cause the reason is that they are a bit rarer than the other ones
