LINEGEAR Japan Corner, Q&A, latest update

Thanks for the mention.
I actually didn’t test them against linegear. Also, it was a very subjective test!!!

I thought you did an outstanding job, very detailed and tailored to the average user. Thanks to you, I stay away from Dillon lenses like you stay away from the strippers working the day crew. I value your opinion and what your bring to the forum.

That hurt more than my wife eating the last of the kimchi.....so not very much.

P.S. For those reading, @"TRUMP" is like a son to me, so don’t panic or rush to my aid. There are times when he is the worst of me and, believe it or not, times when he is far better than I could ever be. Thats the part I prefer to focus on!!!

Coming from someone as well respected as you, I consider your comment a “grail” in terms of compliments! Very much appreciated, bro. I do work hard to keep things updated, respond to genuine criticism, and keep the information current and referenced. I believe it adds to the ease of finding information people (as well as myself) are interested in.

Re: Dillons

Well, it depends on why you are wearing sunglasses. I’d agree with you if you are specifically after excellent visual acuity, then sure, forget the dillons. But in the “looks” department, dillons are kind of special due to the matte look.

And don’t forget, that there was subjective variability between the lens tints also, but I’m sure you probably still have those tints in your collection, also.

For an accomplished collector such as yourself, and especially when you pretty much have everything you probably want to collect, I doubt anyone would bag you for having one or two Dillon “specimens”!!

If I’m not mistaken, they’re not as impact resistant as OEM Oakleys, so just bear that in mind.
