your probably in the $500 range unless theres issues with the frame.

$300 wont happen unless the seller doesnt know what they have, which does happen . Just gotta keep your eyes open

Yeah I think a more realistic price for "beater" XX frames, is $500 to $550, since nicer (but still worn with minor scrapes and scratches) pairs are selling for $650-$675.

I just procured a pair at $530 with prescription clear lenses and was excited to get a pair in this range. XX are reaching Mars/Romeo pricing quickly.

I already have a close to pristine xx24k. I'm looking for a beater pair so that I can learn to work on the x metals and then customize the frame without destroying something already beautiful.

You're probably better off looking for a beater Juliet if your goal is just to learn how to work on X metals since the entry price is half that of an XX
