OK. So I let that white frame dry for a few days and wanted to put my violet lenses in it. Now I cut these myself from a Crankshaft donor and I know it's a little tight. I tried a few attempts but chickened. I redid this frame several times already and didn't want to ruin this one. So I made a decision to go with an aftermarket. And because I changed lens colors, the purple lugs followed the Violet Lenses. I got as good as a black frame as I can find and will permanently keep this lens here. I stuck Ikon polarized deep blue lenses in the white frame and am redoing new lugs for that color. The DWP is something I did months ago.

This is another set of blue lugs. Was waiting for them to dry. In the meanwhile, the ear stems were done weeks ago now and it actually looks dirtier than the frame that was just done. Lol. I guess if I'm going to be using these as work pairs then it doesn't really matter. Now I might do a white and orange combo. Any other color suggestions?

BRAVO! That black and purple set is outstanding! 👏👏👏

Definitely a fan of the clear lugs…hope my in bound set has em 🤞
I took apart my Ducati so I can look at the little knobs on the lugs and it almost looks like a solid piece and not clear. I tried to scrape off some of the red paint but underneath looks whitish. My lugs are still pretty nice lookin' so no reason to try strip them down yet. And I would leave yours alone unless it's ugly for some reason.

orange and black goes great with Harley Davidson attire.
Uh-oh. I started a project that's kinda close to what you just said. I did a frame in copper color and it's looking good to go soon. Waiting on brand new polarized 'black' lenses, to go with the clear smoke lugs. Should look copper and black. FYI. The Tony Stewart Valve is black with an orange lug. I put Rubies in my TS valve so the lenses look orange too.

Outstanding! 🪖👍

I’m digging that copper. I could easily see a steampunk sorta thing with coppers and bronzes.

If I’m not mistaken Ducati is some kinda racing, vehicular thing? Not my area of expertise…it was just a reasonably priced Valve to me 😜. It’s getting a custom one way or the other. Guess I could offer the Ducati lenses to someone in a swap out who it makes a difference to!

I always have plans for future customs…mostly involving Mil-Spec OD or Coyote…but now and again movie or whatever themed. I still need to share my plan for the Scars!

Ducati is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer.
