Looks superb to me! Airbrush I’m guessing? I have one I got and used about once. This is some great inspiration to pull it out of retirement

I have an Iwata set up. But It's been off and on for me the last couple of years. Right now I'm just trying to practice on being as smooth and even as possible. I should get better the more I do it.

Mahalo sir. It’s only like the 6th or 7th frame I’ve ever painted. I had some bad luck so far with my finishes. I think I’m getting better.

Been using Tamiya paints, mostly. That was a high gloss clear.

Aloha Robert. Using the holes maybe a half decent idea, but using toothpicks sucks. I had a pair fall off and I'm already looking for alternatives. Here's me using tie wire. One advantage is I can make it so the glasses won't fall off even when upside down.

I'll call that one my first official painted pair. I had others close to finishing but didn't for whatever reason. I don't think I'll be redoing this one again. Unless the finish doesn't last long for whatever reason. We'll see. Now, it's not perfect and I know it. I kinda over-sprayed by the Made In USA. So it's hard to see now. So I still have consistency issues because I noticed a couple spots that look like on the clear. Practice makes perfect? Overall I grade myself a high 8 to 9. Somewhere in between there. And only that high because I'm saying this is my first effort. Lol. Here ya go OF. Enjoy.
