Good job bro. If I had done that I would have uneven paint, with runs and some hairs attached to the frame. When are you going to start to cerokote?

Damn skippy. I think I just sprayed the last coat. This **** dries really fast. The sun is about to go over the horizon so I just made it lol

Man this stuff dries fast. Came out great I think. But then I put two chips in it getting the lenses in it. I don’t know if waiting would have prevented that but they were a tight fit so I doubt it. Still looks pretty good I think.

Let me preface this by saying that I hate painting. I mean I detest it. I’d rather spend 2 hours talking to my mother in law than paint. That being said I painted a frame lol

I got a half Jacket today that needed some love. While I was at home depot I saw a can of Metallic Red auto paint on clearance for $2. It said it worked on plastic so I said **** it.

I channeled my inner Zach and bent up a coat hanger and went to work. I haven’t painted anything in a coon’s age so I had very low expectations. When it was all done though I was quite surprised.

Brand new rubber kit, newish lenses, and icons back in place, she’s ready to wear.

What do y’all think for the first frame I’ve ever painted? Don’t hold back lol

You did another nice one. Spray a little bit of your paint into something like a bottle cap cap and let it sit for awhile. It'll thicken up so you can touch up the chips easy. I use a match cut to point if I don't have a small enough brush.
