Oakley Double Wide Aluminum Display Case BOLTS

Also $100 is a steal. Some stores pay above a few grand for them.
Thanks for the reassurances. That's what I thought. I can live with some corrosion on the bottom shelf. Just a little sanding would do the trick (of course not 100%, but for CAD100, I can totally live with that). Just that the shelves would be the bulk of the expense.

@incognito This was the case I restored. I think I have about $250cdn into it. I had to have a door made, new locks installed. Went with an acrylic door, it's not as thick as the original one but it sure does the trick. It's not mint by any means but for a 21 year old case it's pretty sweet!

It looks better than original. Some original cases are scratched up and rusted. Good job on the restoration. Sometimes you have to ask, is it better to have it at all, or have nothing.

I'll also post pictures of my finished product. Hoping to get everything done by next week at the latest.

@incognito here is a link to my restore case thread. I didn't document it step by step but you might find something in there to help. First Case - Need Experts Help
Amazing step by step process you followed there. It was definitely worth the while. The minor flaws are purely aesthetic in nature, meant to add character — battle scars through the years. After all, these cabinets are from almost a quarter of a century ago. There's some history to it.

How much did you get your cabinet for, if I might ask?
