I went through old forum posts about the Sutro and how everybody was saying it was so ugly and that they would never buy them. Those same people ended up buying and loving the Sutros. I can see the Kato becoming an instant classic.

The Sutro is actually pretty useless for its intended purpose. Tried mine once in the real world and it just lets light in everywhere, with loads of internal reflexion. These have been looking like theyre actually really useful for sports. Who cares how they look - actually the wierder they look the more 'O' they are.

Hmm. I haven’t experienced any of that with my Sutros. But I have a big head. Haven’t had any internal reflections and coverage has been great while biking and hiking trails. I’m sorry you’ve had problems. But I agree these Katos look much better at wrapping around your head. And the look is crazy awesome 😎

Yeah me too - I'm 6'3" and make eyeshades look small! :)

They just dont have the same wrap as other sports frames. I use my stuff for multi discplines too anything from cycling to surfing to rc glider flying. I preffer the original Eyeshades. I do own multiple pairs of sutro and my customers totally love them. I've been etching and cutting vents in Sutros all last week from monday to yesterday.
