Looks like the 50% tariff is still in place for items purchased from Brazil, that’s a pretty hefty chunk added to the total cost.

Are we screwed?? Piet announced a global release on 11/28 on their IG, but they haven’t said whether any retailers in the US will be included. I don’t want to skip tomorrow’s drop hoping a US retailer will carry them, only for that to never happen.

What are your thoughts? Who’s still going for this release?

when it comes to the 50% tariffs, yes we are screwed... it sucks HELLA ass and another L is that the Piet website updated their terms / service and purchases on their international website are FINAL SALE.

I can find out if some of those selected global retailers include some in the US, the chances are low though for the same reason... the tariffs. Any US retailer will be subject to the same 50% fee which will make the items hella tax. The Brazilian tariffs came into effect at the end of August, and I doubt Oakley was able to send out Piet merch that early
