Is there any custom artists who can replicate the polished aluminum or black chrome colorway on O-Matter frames, specifically NSJ99, Twenty XX and Minute?

My father is a retired professional, did metal and paint work all his life. If there are any techniques he could pull off at home, I’d love to hear them too!

There's no easy way to do it unfortunately. Chrome on plastic requires specific prep, and coatings that aren't commonly available. I've tried a couple places that offer it and they screwed up one frame 3 times, broke another of mine, and several others they did were not great. Also the adhesion is not great so it chips very easily.

I’m pretty sure it’s not actually chrome, that’s just the name for the colorway:

Here’s a photo of the SKU

I know @Funky-Trixtar has a pair or two, maybe he has better photos or a more articulate description of the finish in-person

It's it a chrome type coating underneath that gives it the look. All the fmj, and other finishes like it are a polished black base, with the chrome coating over that, with varying candy colors over top to achieve the different colorways.

That particular picture above would be polished black, followed by the layer of chrome coating, followed by a layer of candy black.

Ok Thanks. I guess they were really ambitious in the factory to provide these, seems like a lot of work. Thank you for explaining it to me
