Welcome to the forum Rich and if you need any help "navigating" the forum please reach out to me(see what I did there)!

lol, nice one :p I want to be sure to not violate any of the rules here. I know there are plenty of folks that dont do FB or IG. I will just try to answer any questions but if I do anything wrong, please let me know and I will take care of it immediately!

Welcome to the forum.

Since I don't FB I've been kind of info-handicapped, waiting on billetspin.info to get updated or having some of your group members pass along info. Thanks for reaching out to the larger audience.

What is this new Indiegogo campaign you mentioned?
It is called the K2 and will be a three piece top. The spin bases I have been showing in my youtube videos will also be availalble in that campaign. Hoping to launch end of this month

Just read the whole thread. I can respond to the quantities questions. Normally I dont but I am in a great mood lol. Supply and demand. I monitor this more than you can imagine. I have indicators I watch. The market is still small and sensitive. Both Rotor and Trident were a lot less limited. After those two, the secondary market prices plummeted. Secondary market prices are probably the biggest indicator I use. So I made less of the Paradox and Infected Specimen. The point is that I am trying to protect the market. It is nice for all my customers to be able to sell their used tops fast and for more money than they paid for them. I also like making new designs and there would be way less of that if I made more quantities. Believe me when I tell you that I have put more time into these decisions than you would believe. As the market grows, the quantities will as well but more customers=faster sell outs. The Infected Specimen had the fastest sales I have ever seen which is a great sign for BilletSPIN. The Indiegogo will be 15 days long with a TON of material variations. The market is where it needs to be in preparation for a huge run like this. Hope that makes sense.

We do have a main business running too which is substantially larger than the top portion. Sometimes quantities are adjusted due to the need of the machines for the main business. Sometimes it is employee vacations. Sometimes machine maintenance. There are a lot of factors involved.

Thanks for the explanation, maybe earmark some for our forum! lol

Fun and games aside I respect that explanation, I love being able to expect a new top once almost ever month in half to two months. My wife may kick me out and all I will have is tops and oakleys but now I know the secondary market will take care of me if this were to happen!

Thanks for the insight.

I hadn't considered factoring in the resell market. Yeah, I guess if everybody who wanted one wasn't able to get one, that'd increase demand in the resell market. It's just that from the buyer's side it can be frustrating to start an order immediately upon launch and still fail to check out because they sold out too fast. Being able to secure one in advance, like with your Indiegogos, is great. I look forward to the next one.

Thanks again for taking the time to explain that.

BTW, I took my Paradox with me to Australia - it's supposed to be pure EDC, so that's how I used it. My nephews enjoyed seeing it in action, especially the upside-down trick. So your work's been on display on the other side of the world now (though probably not for the first time)... ;)

I can understand the frustration for sure. I am a buyer as well and have been trying to get something from one particular maker for over a year with zero luck. It will sure be special once I am able to finally buy one! Glad you are enjoying the Paradox. I put so much time into that design. I probably spin that one the most and the Navigator second. Our sales are about 75% domestic. The rest are all over the world. Has been like that since the beginning. So cool to meet people from all over. This has been an awesome experience for me :) I really appreciate all the kind words on this thread. Means a lot :)
