Romeo 1 “X” insignia on bridge: sunken vs raised

This is so funny because I know for a fact that the first example is sunken, it was never even a question.

Whose expert opinion do I take because there have been members on here who said the logo was sunken as well. And one member who stated the serial numbers looked “laser etched” so…., even when going against the group isn’t comfortable.
I could go on about group psychology:

You seem very aggressive and even uncomfortable with the idea that counterfeits exist even with serial numbers. You also went right in to mark you social standing here with an aggressive nature so forgive me if I don’t think you’re exactly impartial.

I’m sorry if I came off aggressive, I do apologize. The fact that you saying we can see counterfeits is kind of concerning , the only reason I was saying the 2 photos you showed 1 looks outward due to shadows on the edge of the x, can’t have that if it was sunken in.

I’m confused why you think it’s sunken and a counterfeit, do you have photos of the rest of the Romeo’s, Like the front, sides, or arms

I just needed a simple question answered and I think I have my answer. I never meant to get into a sunken or raised debate with photos that don’t give the entire picture. I know what I know, you guys can argue about the photos. I never once asked anyone if those photos were of raised or sunken logos and i never asked if any of those were counterfeit or authentic.
I’m not posting the question again, I already have an answer.

I never said I wanted to know if any of these glasses were authentic, I wanted to know if Oakley ever released X-Metal, Romeo 1’s with a sunken “X” logo on the bridge. Does anyone actually read the original question or go straight to meme’s.

Did Oakley ever release any Romeo 1’s that didn’t not have a raised “X” insignia and came with clearly sunken “X”’s?

I now see that adding the pictures (which I did for context) was a big mistake and only caused confusion, even though I’ve explained my exact question a few times now. I will admit I could have handled this thread in a much cleaner way. Possibly just the question alone would have sufficed and been a less debatable way to handle getting the information I needed. I’m new to this forum and never spend anytime in any online forums because they become places of negativity over information most of the time. At least that’s been my experience with what limited experience I have. I now feel like I’m defending myself more than receiving any kind of actual information on my question. I did at least get a couple responses that I will assume means that Oakley did not release sunken logos on the Romeo 1’s.

It’s more that you completely lost it when any information or opinion was offered in contradiction to your own, of which you gave no explanation to. Then you went on a rampage fighting with people who know infinitely more than you. After which you took what you needed and offered nothing at all to the community here, so thanks for the exploit.

Why can’t I ask a simple question that shouldn’t be that difficult to answer without getting questioned about my motives. It was a very simple question that I thought could be answered by people who know about what Oakley had and had not released. Why do I have to answer why this is important to me, it’s a simple question and I thought this would be the proper forum to ask it.
Every answer I have been given so far by people who actually attempted to answer the actual question, has been that Oakley has not released Romeo’s with a sunken logos, now you’re throw up meme’s saying the answer is obviously “YES!!!!!!!!!!”. It doesn’t seem that obvious. GEEEz maybe it isn’t so obvious!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s people like you that keeps me from seeking out actual information from forums. “GEEEEZ!” You actually didn’t apply any actual knowledge to your response, just criticism. Don’t won’t abut why it’s important to me, if you didn’t want to answer then just pass. GEEEZ! But who needs you’re criticism and you’re opinion if it’s isn’t rooted in actual knowledge.

I never once anyone to debate the pictures and weather the logos were raised or sunken and I admitted to making a mistake even posting any pic because that did cause a debate I was not interested in. I already know for fact that one of those are of a sunken logo, there was no debate to be had. That’s why I was attempting to point this out when people were arguing the raised/sunken

I quit. This is ridiculous. Completely missed what I wanted answered. Never got a real answers just criticism, which I already admitted to making a mistake adding pics. I just want to know something I thought was pretty simple. Really didn’t want to argue about what I already know. Now I’m more confused about the actual answer then I ever was.
