Can you do one for foreskin leather? That’s pretty exotic

Hmmm…that ‘would’ be thin 🤔.

I am currently preparing for a road trip of which one destination is Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. They have one of the country’s largest Bison (…I still call em Buffalo but I digress) herds in the nation. My primary fur contact is there…if anyone has a ready supply of foreskin it’ll be him 😏. But…🦬?

Heh...I admit I'm MARS focused at the moment 😏 I actually have two Juliets...one my Wife has appropriated and one Blood Red one the @THE X-MAN refinished for me. So an X-Metal Juliet leather patch is not out of the question.

Considering I don't sell nothing...and primarily just do this stuff for myself, family, and friends...not sure why I got this stack piling up. I never planned to gift any for that matter beyond family Christmas presents. But there have been a few folks on the Oakley Forum who have treated me like a long lost Brother though I have only been here since late July of this year...so felt compelled to sort them out with something special 🪖👍

Hmm...since I don't sell…for many reasons. Such as...I'm retired and don't need to work (the best reason of all!) I am the absolute world's worst at taking critiques (constructive or otherwise...and if I charged someone I'd have to actually listen to that sorta thing :p. I travel a lot so could never keep up with any kinda demand even if there was one. Last but not least, as I don't own the intellectual property so would have a copyright cease and desist from Oakley ASAP...rightfully so!

Begs the question how to get a patch or two into the hands of some of the Die Hard collectors out there that would 'really' appreciate them...and keep their critiques to themselves ;) I'll have to ponder this one...🤔

OK. That was “way” too much work. These two are one-offs. Neatsfoot oil and red or orange leather dye with mahogany antique finish. Once they dry some sorta top coat and done (well Velcro for the backs. Going on one of my Operator Caps). Cool but no thanks! 😏

I’m still digging the scratch scars on the MARS X-Metal though 🪖👍

More supplies.

These Stingray hides are nice and thin. Good for Crater wrapping. One more color en route. Blue. Interesting side note, Stingray leather is remarkably fire and water resistant.

Got the gray sharkskin as well. Stuff is thick as shoe leather. Have to see if any of it is thin enough or can be thinned enough. Good for a watch band I suppose.
