SpecialAdvisor’s Mad Labs - Mars Leather Mods Plus

What if you had the actual coin?
HA! I just edited by previous post with that comment...let me clip and past myself here.

Clip and pasted EDIT: In a perfect world I'd get ahold of one...then do about 50-200 photos of it from all angles and "attempt" to reproduce it in 3D via Photogrammetry then I'd be able to morph it however I wanted...but not happening in this lifetime. At the end of the day I think I can replicate the 1998 logo and get it on leather...hey ask for the world and be happy when ya get the continent of North America!

Truth be told I'd not want the responsibility of someone's MUZM MARS Coin...sheesh...can you imagine it getting lost in the mail?

...to further my previous comment. Before leather I was doing 3D modeling and printing...primarily my hobby was Props and Prop Replicas...(and no I never sold anything...just for myself, family, and friends). Often Disney stuff...my crowning achievement IMHO was the Pirates of the Caribbean entry plaque. Took hundreds of photos and lots of software crunching...but mine is about as solid a models as exists. Pics below and a few things I've made with it.

Is there anyway to make a mold or an impression of it?

There is but that’s outside my area of “current” expertise…I say that as since I retired in 2007 I’ve done woodworking, 3D Modeling and Printing, and now leather work 😏. Never know what the heck I’ll get into next.

I did a short glancing zig into molding to make some wall plaques of a famous fossil track in Texas if memory serves. Been awhile back.

But my same comment stands…can you imagine if it got lost in the mail!?
