Now for today’s thrilling episode of the “Martian Chronicles.” When last we saw the ‘Warlord of Mars” he was fighting with a large venomous reptile!

Well…I was always A little uncertain if the Mars Standard would look ‘right’ wrapped with no stitch lines…turns out I’m good with it. I also retract my earlier statement. The Rattler is staying on these bad boys. Need another Mars Standard now for the OD Stingray!

As a side note the Barge-Gaffer’s tape combo does work but a touch or two of glue was still needed to hold down a corner or two. Still would be easy to remove without damage to the frame finish

I can tell ya that no one is likely as surprised as I am right now...I've gotten twice as far as I expected...and while it might be a soup sandwich...it ain't a soggy one

What is making this work as well as it is, is that this particular Rattlesnake Skin is like onion skin...thin and flexible when wet with glue and seems to be staying in place so far. Actually took a little doing to get the test strip off...go figure

Alrighty then! My original plan was to wrap the orbitals top and bottom with an accent at the temples....I was about to cut out the orbital bottom parts from the Rattler and my Martial (Martian ?) Senses started to tingle....my inner stuffy Army Officer started saying....too much bling. Hold fast there soldier!

Think I'm gonna sleep on it and take another look in the AM after Reveille

I wonder if you can get a Better Looking Ear sock to fit those. It will give it a much cleaner look
