Tour de France 2017 THREAD

I can't hate on completing a collection, in no way do they look bad at all, but the TDF retail offerings have been further step downs from before. The Smoke/White Jawbone, Antifreeze Radar, and I believe the BMX Chrome arrays were also counted as a TDF releases...

And then the Rio Olympic Fades. Oakley literally gave us those when I'm pretty sure people would've been more hyped for a public release of the "80's Green" Sochi pairs.

Goes without saying we're not to expect any new designs. An insider here probably would've tipped us before race start, and Oakley seems (seemed) to at least give it 3 years in between the Radarlock (2012) and Jawbreaker/EV (2015). I think the Jawbone was in 2009, also going by that pattern.

Call it living in the moment, but current pairs are also going to be hard to improve on imo. I mean expanding the Radar EV line to have an XL/taller cut and/or straight stems will do a service in accommodating more heads. The Jawbreaker could be explored as a modular design by introducing different stem shapes and possibly stretching the jaw/lens height. They just addressed the Flak's finicky swap procedure with the Draft.

anyone getting shipping confirmation on the Radar Pace pair? I got an order in but haven't received shipping yet. Curious to see how those lenses look in person.

Today my order status changed to 'Completed' and I have a tracking number.
However, just like what happened with orders for the Moto GP Carbon Prime, by the time Oakley changed the order status and provided a tracking number, the glasses had already been delivered.

thoughts on wearing the Radar Pace without the ear buds when not training? Anyone else do this? I don't love the more clunky stem but it might be worth it to wear with the TdF lens.
