Vintage Oakley O-Matter Hat

My sister-in-law picked this up for me at a thrift shop. This was my favorite hat growing up. It has been washed and is still in great shape! I was so excited!

I recall my hat having numerals on the back (maybe 1842 or 1482 or ??) instead of the o-matter text. Anyone recall what numbers were on the back of the other hat and what they stood for?

Yep. 1242 was it. Found a photo online. Thanks for the comment on what it means, I never knew that.
