I should Work at Oakley
Speaking of OG straps, I decided to keep the leather OEM and just use the funds for a future new watch.

I guess the case shape pretty heavily limits your choice of bracelets and straps on that one!I did however, go the opposite direction with the Hamilton Ventura and upgraded to a bracelet from the OG rubber strap.

Indeed. Had to go to an authorized dealer to source it. The "lugs" if you can call it that is proprietary to this specific model.I guess the case shape pretty heavily limits your choice of bracelets and straps on that one!

That is my favorite dial/color combo for the 2000 chronographs. I had the blue with the silver subdials, but mine was the model before yours where the 12 was luminous with the metallic outline. I got it at a good price being pre-owned, so I had to miss out on the white. It hurt my heart when the Aquaracer came out and they didn’t do the white / blue and replaced it with the silver / blue. If you don’t mind me asking, when you had it serviced, did you get to pay for just the quartz chrono service, or did they stick you for the “vintage” service that the site advertises for watches older than 20 years? Reason I ask is because I have a 1500 from 1992 I wanted to get serviced, but the price hike for the vintage service seems a little excessive…especially with the watch running just fine.Serviced just before Christmas 2023

Top-notch! Such an iconic piece. I hope to eventually add one to the collection.
Dope!Getting the late 50's Elvis / Men In Black vibe with the Hamilton Ventura. Going to upgrade the rubber strap to a bracelet soon.
