It's because my brother-in-law who is based in Malaysia knows I love Oakley stuff and had a contact in an Optical shop. So it was pretty much a perfect storm of things that worked out for me.....in a positive way!!

It's an "Ang pow" packet which are normally red. At Chinese New Year (different date each year due to use of a lunar calendar), it's tradition for older married couples to give red packets containing money to unmarried children, nephews, nieces and friends' kids.
Naturally, banks give them out before CNY, but Oakley also gave them away as a form of advertising in a unique gold colour, but only if you bought a pair of Oakleys.
