Looks like they both point to the nose bridge and the earstem hinge, perhaps????

One of them is pointing to where it used to be attached to the tree during casting. So you have a lump of finish after filing it down—-or something like that. I’m paraphrasing what I was told.

The other arrow is pointing a few casting dots

I wonder when they stopped putting them on or started taking them off

Got given this one other day not sure if I'll keep or not. Might look nice with some red rubbers and lenses. I've never seen a black one with a serial at all
