Everyone made fun of me because they had never seen Oakleys before and they just couldn't handle the future, I guess.

First pair was a set of black eye jackets with black lenses and silver icons. Got them from sunglasses hut in 1996-97 in high school paid with my 5.15 an hour job. Kept the receipt in the ballistics case just to prove to everyone in class they weren't foakleys but the really deal...

My first pair was actually fake. I knew they were fake when I bought them and some how 22 years later I still have them. They are sitting on a book shelf near me now.

I had a variety of pairs years after that. Can’t remember what the next pair I got was. I remember they were blue and black. But I couldn’t point them out if I had to. Folders pair I still have are a pair of wiretap 1.5 Gen

My first pair ever, was right after my junior year of high school(2008). I bought a pair of Hijinx- shadow camo/black for my birthday. Loved those glasses to death & sadly they were stolen a year later while at a house party. Still miss that original pair. About a month later i got my Gascans/Black Iridium Polarized which are my oldest pairs I still have to this day.

I saw Tour de France from 1987 and although I saw LeMond in Tour with Razor Blades in TV and magazines and Andrew Hampsten in Giro 88 with Eyeshades ( I thought were too big) I did not like to buy, but in Tour 1990 I saw Greg LeMond with Mumbo yellow and blue lenses and I went totally crazy, I thought I need right now that sunglasses, the shape of V lenses I thought was incrediblely sexy , agressive,(I think that is the reason I like so much Sweep) I was buying cycling magazines too and also saw Mark Allen ,the triathlete with them I think, speed skaters, ,another pro cyclists, so I bought Crystal Black in 1991 with +Red Iridium Heater( only 2 in the shop, was very difficult in my city to buy cycling glasses Oakley those years, never I liked Heater because too much hot climbing in Road bike, unfortunately they broke one stem and I bought Bollé Edge II in 1993 I think because Indurain wore in that time and in 2000 bought New M Frame Black Iridium

It was a pair of pearl white m-frames with blue logos and Ice Iridium lens. I think it was about 20 years ago and wanted a good cycling glass. Should have never sold it.
