What's On Your Plate???

I thought there wasn't enough bread for it to be Germany.

I was in one hotel that made fresh rolls, including a few pretzel ones. Had to get up early to be the one that got a fresh baked pretzel breakfast roll.

You've not lived until you've had a oven-fresh still warm pretzel! I do like a decent Brezn :)
 
Last night, seared scallops topped with beurre blanc and fresh chives, steamed broccoli and cauliflower also topped with beurre blanc.

Really, the beurre blanc made the meal; probably the best batch I've done, very flavorful and creamy (TWSS)...

The Kid was "helping" put some chives on this one, got a little heavy on the left...

And, of course, while I was taking pics The Kid had to jump in saying, "Take one of me! Take one of me!"... "I wanna see it..."
