X Squared Orbital Insert replacement

Hi everyone

need some help/advice

the insert/rubber padding on my xsquared orbital melt for some reason so i just removed it totally

if anyone can advice me what kind of material I can use as replacement for this?

so the lenses will not have any movement.

XS was the first and only x-metal frame to come with shimming (the padding you're asking about). Before then, people would shim orbitals by using thin strips of electrical tape. Should work for XS too.

Yeah, that happens ... a thin slice of rubber tape, a piece of a rubber band, or a sliver from a bike tire tube all work. Some may say those are 'optional' depending on your use and the fit of the lenses in use.

I use an 1/8" rubber tubbing,just cut to .080"
